What to expect

What to expect on your first visit

First you can expect a warm welcome from our front desk staff!

They will get you checked in and collect any additional information needed: ID, insurance card, and any imaging reports. They will review your expected insurance benefits as well.

Your clinician will direct you back to their treatment space to review your history and discuss your specific problem and goals. A thorough orthopedic, neurologic, and chiropractic examination will be performed to determine diagnosis.  Some conditions may require a referral for imaging such as X-ray, MRI, or CT scan.

Following the history and examination, the doctor will review their findings with you and determine if you are a good candidate for treatment.  If treatment is not recommended, they will help find other healthcare options for you.  If treatment in our office is recommended, they will discuss a plan and begin your treatment as soon as possible.

After your time with your clinician, the front desk staff will assist in the check-out process, collecting payments if applicable, and rescheduling.

HOW LONG DO VISITS TAKE?

  • Due to the nature of a patient’s specific injury or complaint, and our commitment to individualized care, appointment length can vary.
