Personal Injury

Auto accidents & worker’s compensation

Patients being seen at our office as a result of a motor vehicle accident (MVA) or worker’s compensation injury will need to read and agree to the following procedures. We have found that these procedures are best at this time for maintaining quality care for the patient, focused recovery for associated injuries, and timely financial organization for all parties.

  1. Time of Service Payment: The patient will be expected to pay at the time of service at the self pay rates defined by Nashville Chiropractic + Sports Therapy.

  2. Superbill Reimbursement: Superbills can be provided for each visit. The superbill is the receipt that will best reflect the coding and fees of each visit. This receipt can be submitted to the responsible party (auto insurance, lawyer, etc.) by the patient to support reimbursement for medical costs as a result of the injury. Your claim representative can also be a reference for this process.

  3. Health Insurance: A patient can consider using their own health insurance if their auto insurance benefits have exhausted. Some personal health insurance companies will deny coverage as they are not the most responsible party. If coverage is denied, the patient will be responsible for the self pay rates as mentioned in following Step 1 and Step 2. If coverage is allowed, the patient will be responsible for their portion as defined by their insurance provider.
