NO SHOW POLICY

The value of this policy is to encourage communication between a patient and our office to best support the schedule, decrease wait times, and provide availability for additional patients waiting to be seen.

What counts as a “No Show”?

A “No Show” is defined as not showing for a scheduled appointment at all or canceling an appointment within less than 24 hours of the appointment time.

Consequence of a “No Show”?

A fee will be implemented for a “No Show” with the following standards and will be charged to the patient’s card on file at the close of business that day.

New Patient Appointment: $50.00

Follow Up Patient Appointment: $40.00

How do I cancel an appointment to avoid a fee?

24 hours before your scheduled appointment:

  • Sign into your account and cancel or reschedule online.

    • Click ‘Sign In or Sign Up’ in the top right corner.

  • Call the Office: 615-620-0904 or Email the Office: info@nashvillechiro.net

We understand things can come up. Events that lead to a missed appointment or delayed canceling will be reviewed and the fees will be implemented at the discretion of the office staff.

FINANCIAL POLICY

Patients without insurance / Self pay: We request that all of the charges be paid at the time of the visit unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon prior to service.

Patients with medical insurance: As a courtesy, when possible, we will verify benefits on your insurance. However, the benefits quoted to us by your insurance company are not a guarantee of payment. Payment will be due by you at the time of service for any non-covered services, deductibles, co-insurance, or co-pays as determined by your insurance company.

Medicare: We do accept assignment from Medicare. You are responsible for payment of the Medicare-priced services at time of visit for services provided that are not covered by Medicare. The only chiropractic service Medicare will cover is manual manipulation of the spine. Our office completes and files the claim forms for Medicare at no charge to you.

Please be advised that Medicaid and TRICARE do not have insurance policies that offer chiropractic benefits. Please refer to the “Patients without insurance / Self pay.”

If a patient has an outstanding balance, they will receive an invoice via messaging during the next billing cycle. Any balances that remain outstanding for 90 days are subject to our collections process.

PERSONAL INJURY POLICY

Auto accidents & worker’s compensation

Patients being seen at our office as a result of a motor vehicle accident (MVA) or worker’s compensation injury will need to read and agree to the following procedures. We have found that these procedures are best at this time for maintaining quality care for the patient, focused recovery for associated injuries, and timely financial organization for all parties.

  1. Time of Service Payment: The patient will be expected to pay at the time of service at the self pay rates defined by Nashville Chiropractic + Sports Therapy.

  2. Superbill Reimbursement: Superbills can be provided for each visit. The superbill is the receipt that will best reflect the coding and fees of each visit. This receipt can be submitted to the responsible party (auto insurance, lawyer, etc.) by the patient to support reimbursement for medical costs as a result of the injury. Your claim representative can also be a reference for this process.

  3. Health Insurance: A patient can consider using their own health insurance if their auto insurance benefits have exhausted. Some personal health insurance companies will deny coverage as they are not the most responsible party. If coverage is denied, the patient will be responsible for the self pay rates as mentioned in following Step 1 and Step 2. If coverage is allowed, the patient will be responsible for their portion as defined by their insurance provider.
